So, is there anyone out there like me that feels the added pressure of the holidays? Don’t get me wrong, I love the holidays. I am not the biggest fan, however, of all the time sensitive plans that come along with it. I can get into the joy of decorations, the cookies and all the great dinner celebrations but it comes with a price of having to always keep a more strict calendar and be punctual.
I am by nature pretty punctual, but prefer to be so as a matter of choice on my own terms. Now, I am going thru the inbox of invitations, meetups, holiday happy hours and social gatherings and I feel like my head will explode.
The good news is that, I can still get lost in the creative aspect of the holidays and book shoots that have to do with the joy of the festivities. The image posted here is certainly an example of that. As you know, I not only do boudoir, but also do Glamour as well as business Personal Branding too. If you are an entrepreneur planning for your 2019 social media and website presence, you and I need to talk about this category.
So, back to the holidays. One way I get thru it is to look back on my year of blessings and being thankful. I recognize not everyone made it to the end of 2018. So that in itself is a big blessing. I am also be more selective of what invites I accept. Time is valuable. And I do enjoy a bit of spiked eggnog that also helps to get thru the holidays.
Are you planning to do something special for the holiday? What do you do to de-stress and make it thru?
Have a great Christmas and wonderful holiday season. Let’s both get thru this one day at a time.
